1 - work from the bottom of the zit, but not too far away for the squeeze. Don't work from the top because that won't work.

2 - You can tell if the pop will be good dependant on whether the visible pus is big or small and whether it's like an anthill or like a just mound. If you've got an "anthill", you have a very promising squirt.

3 - If it's a big flat mess of inside pus, which I always thought meant you have a lot of openings the pus wants out, sometimes squeezing just gives you a big puddle of oil that comes out with no breaking or bursting point. Not worth the pain.

I've found that some of my smaller whiteheads have produced more pus than some of the larger ones...weird.  Some of the smaller ones it just keeps coming.

Dude, I love it when you get a big long tube of coagulated zit as you squeeze it out. It's like it won't ever stop.

Although, with those I know there is more and that concerns me. If you get a big long bunch of pus, then you're disrupting things too much and the zit is certain to come back.

Why do you think that it will make it come back Nate? And what else would you do with it if you aren't going to pop it?

I love those streamer pops, I mostly get them on my chin.
